Day 1 – Jewish History

Day 2 – Arab/Palestinian History

Day 3 – 19th-20th century socio-political history (WWI, WWII, etc.)

  • Game Prep Quiz

    • NOTE: The quiz winner gets a team super bonus

      • AHC or Zionist win: Can veto any of the 4 UNSCOP Options, at the end of game play Session 4

      • UNSCOP win: Customized special power (with GM approval)

GAME PLAY

Day 4 (Game Session 1)

  • Opening Speech by Dr. Bunche

  • Speeches/debate on Option A: One State, Palestine, Governed by Arabs

Day 5 (Game Session 2)

  • Journalist reports on the Option A debate

  • Speeches/debate on Option B: One State, Israel, Governed by Jews

Day 6 (Game Session 3) –

  • Journalist reports on the Option B debate

  • Speeches/debate on Option C: One Federal Nation with Two States

Day 7 (Game Session 4)

  • Journalist reports on the Option C debate

  • Speeches/debate on Option D: Partition into Two Nations

Day 8 (Game Session 5)

  • Journalist reports on the Option D debate

  • Speeches by UNSCOP

  • Replies, Debate, Lobbying

  • UNSCOP vote

POST-MORTEM

Day 9 (Post-Mortem)

  • UN General Assembly decision announced

  • Post-mortem and de-brief about actual history
