Faculty Perceptions of Commercial Learning Systems

This report describes a USG-wide faculty survey regarding the effects of commercial learning systems on the cost of course materials. Recommendations include evaluating materials costs beyond textbooks institution-wide, expanding open education infrastructure to include assessments and analytics, prioritizing accessibility, supporting OER work, and ensuring IT policies facilitate instructional innovation.
