This Adoption for Introduction to Criminal Justice (CRJU 1105) was created under an Affordable Materials Grant. The project replaced a traditional textbook with curated OER—videos, websites, databases, and scholarly articles—aligned to course learning objectives, supported by a D2L template and instructor guides to ensure consistency across sections and modalities. Topics emphasize core criminal justice concepts, real‑world scenarios, research tools, and career exploration, while addressing lessons learned around content volume, organization, and assessment variation.
